![]() Nevertheless, I’m glad that the developers finally could be bothered to update this much-loved app. ✓ Once again a half-baked update! Or, too little too late! Updated review for updated update! I’ve been a SplashData customer for many years, why were registered users not notified when the update was in the works? I’d have missed it totally if I hadn’t left this app on my iPhone 5c. My favorite app of all ease update so that is fully functional again.I need this!. I’m switching to a competitor that keeps their app bug free and is so far careful to not ditch your data. With the new update there is no way to retrieve that data and I’m now stuck with starting over or changing to a new app. Over that time I built up lists totaling over a thousand items. ✓ No loyalty to long standing customers I have been a user of SplashShopper for years. I am a loyal customer both for the product and for the customer service. I read some of the reviews which stated that the support was nonexistent. This may sound like a lot of trouble to upgrade an app, but when someone has 10 years worth of lists to help stay organized, it’s worth it. I contacted Splash support and the representative responded to each question over a two day period. The iPhone apps started to freeze when I entered new data and failed to sync. I have come to rely on them on a daily basis. I have used this app as well as SplashMoney for over ten years, since the Palm Pilot days. PLEASE UPGRADE SO US iPhone USERS CAN CONTINUE TO USE THE SPLASH SOFTWARE. What will I do with all my lists after the next system upgrade? I have already lost the ability to sync with my Mac Book a long time ago, so there's only one copy of my data. Now I am disappointed like so many others who need an upgrade. ✓ There Was Once Great Support The words below were what I felt for so many years. I don't think you or we want to do that if possible. This causes one to question if we should proactively migrate off other Splash apps. If that becomes impossible, please provide a tool to migrate old lists from an iPhone with iOS 11. Your support site says you're working on upgrading the app to support iOS 11. ✓ Please deliver on your iOS 11 update plans asap! Like so many others have stated, I have been using this app since the Palm Pilot and Treo days. The thing is - this is still, hands down, the best customizable shopping & other list app out there. And if you try to eMail them at the address provided, it comes back undeliverable. There’s no real usable info in their searchable support site - you can’t even sort it by app so there’s tons of irrelevant info to weed through. Yeah yeah - I could sync it with my desktops to repopulate it. I just opened up my app and all my lists were unpopulated. But this app just disappoints over and over again. I’ve had all their apps since the early 2000’s, on my Palm. ✓ SplashData Used to Represent Quality I don’t know what happened to SplashData- maybe they just decided to put all their weight behind their SplashID app? I dunno. So unreliable I’ll have to simply use the old version unconnected on my iPad so it doesn’t get screwed by poor programming as well. Just another case of a company that worries more about making promises in order to get the sale, than in putting in the effort to get it right.ĭon’t waste your time–look elsewhere for a list manager. I am SOOOOOOO tired of wasting my time having to recover from their changes! I really wish SplashData would take the time to make sure the program actually works as promised. ![]() Once again, the update has overwritten all of my many lists with the default set, and there is no backup, of many I’ve made, that will refill the data. I am tired of accommodating it’s many idiosyncrasies and poorly thought-through implementations. ✓ Half-assed I have used this program on various devices and desktops for over 15 years. ✓ Past data missing Version 4 seems to run, but all my previous entries are gone. I have not found another shopping app, but I will keep looking if you don't upgrade. ✓ Up Date? Why are you leaving us hanging. SplashShopper - organizer for Negative User Reviews ![]()
